JULY 8, 2024 - Kobe Foster from the Washington Wild Things has one the Frontier League Pitcher of the Week award!
Washington Wild Things left-handed pitcher Kobe Foster enjoyed another outstanding outing against the Florence Y'alls on Independence Day, going for seven innings without allowing a run while striking out 11 hitters. The outing was Foster's second consecutive start with 10 or more strikeouts.
This is Foster's first appearance as the Pitcher of the Week, despite a very strong career with the Wild Things. Foster won the Rookie of the Year award during his first season in 2022 after compiling an 8-1 record across 11 appearances. He is currently 5-1 and is in the top 10 in ERA and strikeouts this season.
