FLORENCE’S BRENNAN PRICE AND BOOMER’S AARON GLICKSTEIN TAKE WEEKLY AWARDS

After the Y'alls went 4-2 this week, their infielder really helped score some runs. While the Schaumburg Boomers, went 3-3, their pitcher excelled in his appearance. The Y'alls Brennan Price is this week's Player of the Week while the Boomer's Aaron Glickstein is Pitcher of the Week.

Brennan Price had himself a week after having 13 hits, nine runs scored, and 13 RBIs with four homeruns. He had at least one hit or more in each game with his best game being against the Empire State Greys on Wednesday where he went 3-3 at the plate with four runs scored and four RBIs and two homeruns. He then outdid himself the next day where he went 4-5 at the plate with three RBIs, one homerun and two runs scored. Overall, his performance this week led to a .615 on-base percentage and 1.217 slugging percentage.

Before coming to Florence in 2022, Price played in the Toronto Blue Jays Minor League organization. He attended Felician University for four years where his best season was in 2017. In that season he had 55 hits, seven homeruns, and 51 RBIs and 27 runs scored.

Glickstein shined in his appearances this week. In his appearances against the New Jersey Jackals on Tuesday, he had six strikeouts, allowed only five hits, one walk and two earned runs. He then outdid himself on Sunday against the Ottawa Titans where he had seven strikeouts, one walk, and one earned run.

Before coming to Schaumburg in 20222, Glickstein played for Lake Erie in 2021. In that season, he was 5-4 with a 4.10 ERA with 62 strikeouts and only 27 walks allowed. Glickstein attended Stony Brook University where his best season was in 2018. In that season he was 3-0 with 3.22 ERA with 31 strikeouts and only 25 walks allowed.
