JACKALS ANNOUNCE 2022 PROMOTIONS
The snow has melted, warmer weather is returning to Northern New Jersey and Major League Baseball has lifted the curtain on its season. Those harbingers of Summer can mean only one thing...JACKALS BASEBALL IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER!
This season at Yogi Berra Stadium will be a special one for a variety of reasons. Most notably, the 2022 campaign will mark the 25th Anniversary Season of Jackals baseball! It will also signal the final step in the transition to the Frontier League, as New Jersey will face every other team in the league at least once.
The organization has been hard at work crafting a promotional schedule that will cater to all and provide added memories for the fans. The Jackals begin the season with a six game road swing through Evansville, Indiana and Florence, Kentucky, before returning home to lift the curtain on year 25 in Little Falls! The first home game will be May 20th at 7:05pm against the Gateway Grizzlies, who hail from Sauget, Illinois, a St. Louis suburb. That night will feature a magnetic schedule giveaway, so you can plan all your outings to Jackals games this season!
The series continues the next night, May 20th at 6:05pm for the season's first Fireworks show, along with a BBQ and Brew Fest. Fans will be able to purchase tickets in advance of that night that guarantee them entry to the game, a burger with two specialty toppings and a beer sampling mug. You will also be able to upgrade your ticket once you enter the stadium that night, if you haven't purchased the special package in advance.
June 4th, a 6:05pm game against Quebec, will be one of the most memorable nights in Jackals franchise history. The game falls on the exact date the Jackals played their first home game at a recently completed Yogi Berra Stadium in 1998. Pregame ceremonies will include past players, a special giveaway commemorating the night and additional honors from the town of Little Falls, while postgame brings the Saturday staple of fireworks.
Saturday June 11 and 18 will usher in some alternate identities, as the Jersey Wise Guys make their return to the field on the 11th, followed by the ever-popular Star Wars Night on the 18th, in which the Jackals will wear special intergalactic themed jerseys!
The parade of unique jerseys continues on July 23, when superheroes #DefendTheDen on Marvel Night from the evil forces of that night's opponent, the Windy City ThunderBolts.
Finally, in August, the Jackals will once again host their Scout Sleepover after the conclusion of the game on Friday the 12th against Sussex County and the promotional slate concludes with the final Fireworks night on August 20, which will also be Fan Appreciation Night.
The 2022 season will also feature the return of the Daily Deals fans know and love- Waggy Wednesday's (when pets are welcome and hot dogs are buy one, get one free!), Thirsty Thursday's and Family Funday Sunday's!
Game times haven't changed either! Tuesday-Friday contests begin at 7:05pm, except for the camp days on July 13 and August 3 which start at 11:05am. Saturday games are at 6:05pm and Sunday afternoon contests begin at 2:05pm.
