CRUSHERS RE-SIGN ALL-STAR PITCHER DARRIEN RAGINS
The Lake Erie Crushers announced today that All-Star Pitcher Darrien Ragins has been re-signed for the 2024 season.
Ragins will return for a 2nd year with the Crushers after a strong 2023 debut season in the Frontier League. In addition to making the All-Star Team, Ragins pitched 61 innings for the Crushers in 2023, posting a one-point-nine-zero ERA. He struck out 77 batters while walking only 28 and opposing hitters posted a one-eighty-six batting average against the big lefty.
Ragins spent the first three seasons of his college career at Delaware State University before finishing at Keiser Universtity. Following a four-year layoff, Ragins began his professional career with the Pioneer League's Billings Mustangs in 2022.
