NEW JERSEY JACKALS ANNOUNCE NEW READING PROGRAM

The New Jersey Jackals new reading program is designed to give local teachers a motivational tool. Jackals tickets they can use to reward students who accomplish their reading goals! The team is looking for elementary schools in Passaic, Bergen, Essex, Union and Hudson Counties to participate in the Jackals' new "Read Around the Bases" program.

Here's how it works...Each student who reads at least three (3) books during the program that runs between January and April will receive a pair of tickets from the Jackals. Those tickets can be used for one of three "Read Around the Bases" Nights at Historic Hinchliffe Stadium. The dates to redeem the tickets will be May 16th, May 30th and June 6th, with a pregame parade on the field for all scholars that use their tickets.

Participation in "Read Around the Bases" is open to all elementary schools within the area. To participate, teachers and school administrators may email General Manager John Hunt atjhunt@jackals.com and the Jackals will follow up with all the details.

To help support Read Around the Bases, Jack The Jackal will be making school appearances, and Jackals players and staff will be joining Jack and reading to students.

All students that participate will receive complimentary Jackals bookmarks.
