Elliott, 22, joins the Titans out of the Texas Rangers organization, in which the Canadian right-hander tossed parts of three seasons in the Arizona Complex League. A former Canadian Junior National Team member, Elliott finished the 2023 season with the Toronto Maple Leafs of the Intercounty Baseball League. Appearing in 11 games (one start, ten in relief), he began this tenure with six scoreless innings.

Hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Elliott was selected by the Rangers in the 15th round of the 2021 MLB Draft and made 15 relief appearances in the minor leagues. The 6-foot-3 righty compiled a career 2-1 record and tossed to a 4.70 ERA over 15.1 innings. Elliott struck out 24 batters, which was good enough for a 14.1 SO/9.

Giuliano, 27, officially puts pen to paper with the Titans after suiting up Trois-Rivières Aigles for the last two seasons. This past summer, the left-hander made 42 appearances in relief and went 1-2 with a 7.68 ERA over 38.2 innings. Giuliano tossed 29 clean sheets, including nine consecutive scoreless outings from May 24th to June 6th for the Aigles.

A product of the Bronx, New York, Giuliano attended Pace University (New York, New York), where he was a career 1-1 with a 4.50 ERA in 28 contests (four starts, 24 in relief) from 2019-2021. The 6-foot southpaw tossed to an impressive 1.59 ERA in his first collegiate season for the Setters, where he also did not allow an earned run in his first 11 appearances.

In other news, the Titans have exercised some club options and declined others. The accept or decline of the option does not guarantee the player will be on the 2024 roster.

By exercising their options, the Titans retain the Frontier League rights to these players for next season, but they must sign a new contract.

Players exercised include RHP Thomas Bruss, LHP Chris Burica, RHP Damon Casetta-Stubbs, RHP Trevor Clifton, OF Austin Davis, INF Jason Dicochea, OF Adam Fogel, INF Sicnarf Loopstok, OF Jake Sanford, and RHP Justin Showalter.

The club has declined options on INF Brandon Bannon and LHP Jairo Vasquez.

Further, the Titans have traded LHP Matt Valin to the Lake Erie Crushers to complete a previous trade.

The Ottawa Titans open the 2024 season on Friday, May 10th against the New England Chowdahheads. The Titans' home opener is scheduled for Tuesday, May 21st versus the Tri-City ValleyCats at Ottawa Stadium.
